header on the automation2 website selection page. Replace it like I have
below, please with the $35 for 35 websites message. Please change the 2nd line of text in the
blue header on the automation2 sites to be as follows: Notifications can't come from globaladvertizing.com anymore. They should come from something like support@btel.net, Global Support, or something generic like that as we discussed on 3/10. Many of our advertizing customers are not getting their ad placement notifications, not getting their ads pending notifications, not getting their customer inquiries from people who want to buy their stuff. All of these things are not good for referrals, renewals and customer satisfaction. I am nearly certain that our customers who place ads for their stuff on lots of websites and who are getting the inquiries from the people who want to buy their stuff, are pleased with the results they are getting from our ads. So, one of our primary objectives needs to be to get people's ads on as many websites as possible. We need to make sure that they understand that they can place their ads on more than one or two websites. The guy who placed his ad yesterday only put the ad on two websites. He could have placed his ad on 33 more websites at no extra cost.
In automation3: I think we are going to replace the tree photo at automation3 with the old globe, blue banner and text we have at automation2. Let us think about this for awhile though until you get the functionality completed. I know for sure that we are going to need the globe, flag etc though. Each site needs to be easily and immediately identifiable as a global advertizing site. Please complete the functionality before you spend time on changing the look from the "tree" format though. The first part that needs to be completed is the functionality. |

03/08/12 Manage Advertisements for Automation 3 - When a customer requests his password, we would like the same reply notice emailed to admin (us) as what is sent to them. Also we would like the password request form to ask for their phone number and be included in the reply. |

Marian 9/29/2011 We would like a copy of each password request, so that we can see what is happening with the replies that our customers are receiving. ie: Another password request below. We are trying to get into our account to update our ad, but can't remember the password. We went through the steps to get it, but keep getting a reply that there was an error in sending. How can we fix this? Marian 10/03/2011 We get about 10 calls or emails for passwords a week. What can we do to figure out how to get messages to customers?? They obviously don't read the notice that is already in place. Or they don't know what a spam box is, or if they are really checking their spam boxes and the message isn't really there, where is it??

Marian 7/30/2011 11:34 PM IMPORTANT In the ad tool where I build new websites under Domain Names, I need to be able to use the admin domain database tool to domain replicate URL's (substitute one URL for another, and then be able to edit it and save as the new URL or use one URL as a template for another by substitution). IE: use aberdeenrealestate.net as the template for aberdeenrealestateforsale.com or use farmsforsale.net as the template for northdakotafarmsforsale.com or for wyomingfarms.org. The old tool let me edit as I pleased and then when I was done, submit as a new domain URL.

If we had a separate “add photos” page, we could tell how many people are leaving at the step of the process. I think we used to have some text on the add photo page that informed the user that they could add photos later And we also told them that if they had any trouble placing their photos, we could add photos for them later? Glen, I think this customer gives us a good example of what we need to fix on the page where they select websites. He says he didn't know how to finish the ad. I agree with him, it is not obvious to some customers how to "finish the sale". We need to "close the deal" with these customers. He also doesn't know if there is a fee to list the ads. First, we need an obvious "continue" button at the bottom of each page that will ultimately lead them to the checkout page. And, we need an option on the checkout page that says: "Click here to pay for your card with credit card over the phone". After they click that button, all of us should get a "callback notice" just like we used to, so that we can call the customer for his credit card info and then publish the customers' ad. We've got an idea of how to present the prices, but that will take a little more explanation. I know you are getting bombed with a lot of changes for automation2. We lost some of things that used to work good for us. Now, we just need to get them back as soon as we can. Instead of invoice number in subject line, can we have the title of the ad? Then have the invoice and title in the body of the email?? The long invoice numbers in the subject line (maybe even in the body of the email) are causing the emails to go to postini spam blocker I think. I found two there today. NOTICES How to Delete Ads You are now able to delete your own ads. Go to any of our
websites, or websites that you are advertizing on, Click on Modify Advertisement
in the blue menu bar near the top of the page. A webscreen will appear asking
you to type in your account email and password. If you don't have a password,
click on the I forgot my password text. The password for the account email will
be sent to the account email address. You can then enter the password. Once you
are in your account, you can manage all of your ads, change your account
administration email, change your password etc. You will be able to manage all
of your ads from one central location. When you delete an ad, you will be asked
to confirm delete, so will actually have the chance to change your mind. You
will need to Confirm delete to make the Delete actually occur. Click on Log Out to leave your account. |

How to Modify or Add more websites
To make updates, you can go to any of our websites, or any
that you are advertising on, click on Modify Ad
in the upper left menu links of the website. You will be taken to a webpage that
says Manage Advertisements. When you have successfully entered your account and can
Modify your ad and can see your ad title onscreen with a choice to Edit of
Publish, click on Edit or Publish link. You may want to add or change photos. Click on Browse. The folder where photos are generally kept on your computer will appear. You can look for your pictures there, or you can choose the location where you keep your photos if you know the location if the tool did not find them. Photos 800 pixels x 600 pixels (approx) are about the best size, if you know how to resize we recommend it This will enable the photos to upload quickly. Very large photos will not upload quickly and you may receive an error message in red. Or the photos may not load at all without a message appearing as to why. The reason will be that your internet connection was probably interrupted during the uploading process. Photos need to be in .jpg or .gif format. We suggest that you write text about each photo as well. You will be able to do this underneath each photo after it has been uploaded. The photo will upload with a text box underneath that says <optional - enter a description for the selected photo here>, you will type right over that text to write what you want about that particular photo. Save changes, Then click browse to add the next photo and then enter the text , etc, etc... If you forget to add text to a particular photo and want to go back and add text, click on the photo and it will highlight with a gray border and then you can add the text. Do not click on the red X, that will delete the photo. If you want the photos to appear in a certain order then number the photos, IE: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. You do not need to put a period (.) after the number, but you may if you wish. Write the description of the photo after the number. You should click the Continue button when you are done loading all the photos. Your changes will appear almost instantly. You may have to refresh your webpages again. If you do not know how to refresh, click on the F5 function Key each time that you want the most current version of the webpage. If you only wish to Publish you ad to more websites, skip the Edit, and just click on Publish. You will go directly to the website selection page. Choose the new websites that you want your ad to appear on and then click on Checkout. Continue your ad payment choice and finish. You will receive an ad posted email as soon as the ad payment is completed. Your changes will appear almost instantly. You may have to refresh your web pages. If you do not know how to refresh, click on the F5 function Key each time that you want the most current version of the web page. You need to accept all emails from @globaladvertizing.com
or check your spam or junk box. Since we are an advertizing company, our email
messages may be considered junk mail and thrown into your spam box. |
